Chehalis Dance & Drum Presentation (1 hour)

The songs and dances performed come from the spirit of the Chehalis people. The teachings of the Elders say that an opening prayer, song and dance asks the ancestors to call the Spirit “with a good mind and a good heart” to the gathering.  It is our way that every place has a name; every place has a spirit. Our stories, legends and songs all come from this belief. At the end of the presentation, participants are encouraged to join the dancers and learn a traditional dance. Presentations may be held in the Charlie family longhouse at no additional cost. If the presentation is held at another location, space rental must be negotiated directly with the facility.

$750 per group

All rates are GST exempt.
