Drum Making Workshop (2 hours)
Duration: 2 hours
Departs: Available upon request year-round for groups of 6 or more persons.
This drum making workshop is overseen by Darren Charlie of Sasquatch Tours, a well-known and much sought after traditional drum maker. Each participant will learn the fine art of First Nations drum making and create a small traditional drum to take home. These are truly authentic drums and come with the drumming stick. Workshops may be held in the Charlie family longhouse at no additional cost. If the Workshop is held at another location, space rental must be negotiated directly with the facility.
Cost includes instruction & materials; synthetic materials are used due to health & safety reasons.
