Weaving & Cedar Bark Workshop (2 hours)
Duration: 2 hours
Departs: Available upon request year-round for groups of 6 or more persons.
Join a First Nations weaver and learn about the fine art of weaving and the usage of cedar bark. Learn traditional and contemporary techniques, about the various barks & materials used and the usage of various items created. A take-home craft will be created during the workshop. Cost includes instruction and materials. Workshops may be held in the Charlie family longhouse at no additional cost. If workshop is held at another location, space rental must be negotiated directly with the facility.
